Small place with seriously good BBQ and Sweet Tea. This was our first visit here. We got there a little after 7pm and they were out of ribs they said. We went ahead and stayed and ate. They had an all you could eat buffet with rice, hash, mustard-based BBQ and beans and Cole slaw. Apparently they had ribs but they were already out of them by the time we had got there. After we sat down and started eating I overheard the woman say that they were going to close. Apparently they stay open until they run out of food. A tip.....you might want to call before you go to make sure that they're still open if it gets late. The interior and seating need a serious update but, the food was really good and the staff was nice. I would definitely go back again.
The bbq are very good. It is open on Friday and Saturday. Also serve dinner at its restaurant. Buffet style
If you're looking for an old school BBQ house, this is the place! Nothing fancy, just good food and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Their mustard sauce is the perfect condiment to go with their never-dry pulled pork, chicken, and their fall-off-the-bone tender ribs! But, you'd better get there early because they sell out fast. My only regret is that I don't live closer.
We honestly thought we were finding a hidden gem based on all the outstanding ratings. Wrong. The ribs were closer to jerky. It took 2 minutes to chew one bite of chicken and the bbq was mushy, like what you buy frozen in the store. The meat tasted like it had been cooked (not smoked or grilled ) 3 days ago.
