We enjoy stopping at Bill and Fran's when we are headed towards Greenville. They offer great diner-style food with a BIG smile. Wait staff is super friendly. Restaurant has always been busy when we've stopped. Never had to wait for a table though. Great place to stop for some comfort food and a bit of nostalgia.
I may be a bit bias, but I love this place. The food, service and atmosphere. We go once a year, but it's been a pleasure for the past 10 years. Always feel at home. Love the decor in the ladies restroom.
The food is good for no doubt. My kids loved it very much! But we sit there waiting for a server forever to take our order when people after us already been taken care of. 2 groups of people coming after us got their food earlier than us when we all have salad and burger. Except for we don’t look like Americans, can’t think of other reasons. We have been there twice on our way home from the mountain area.
David said, "Best burger I ever ate!" Fantastic Mushroom & Swiss burger, fresh salad with delicious home made thousand island dressing. They cooked my eggs perfectly which says a lot. I like them over hard with broken yoke and most chefs can't do it without ending up like rubber. Pleasant attentive service without being intrusive. Just overall great experience! Y'all need to franchise.
The food was delicious. It came out fast and hot. The waitress did forget a few things like silverware for the table and a couple of items I ordered but hey, the place was packed. I was really amazed everything comes off a small grill. I would recommend this place and will go back before I head back to Florida.
