Can't say enough good things about the house. A great venue and a wonderfully put together eclectic schedule. The "man" behind the scenes, Mark is a true professional and a joy to work with. His two full-time workers Mary and Amp are the hardest workers in show business!! This group really keeps things together. Miss you guys....your buddy James.
I love this venue. Great shows and concerts at affordable prices. EVERY seat is a good seat. Staff always friendly, helpful and attentive. Everything is spotless.
This is a really nice historic place that I have been to a few times because of my sons band concerts. The ticket prices are a little on the high side but worth it because, it is a historic site. The biggest complaint that I have here is that prior to sitting down in the theater, they make you wait in the lobby area until a certain time. It is very crowded with everyone else waiting to get into the theater area and, there is nowhere for anyone to sit. Especially if you have elderly family members with you that cannot stand up for long periods of time there's nowhere for them to sit and is very frustrating. The last time we were here, we waited until the last 5 minutes before they played to go into the theater. That way we would not have to stand in the crowded Lobby. It is a beautiful theater that has a great acoustics though.
The show was great and I really enjoyed it. The Newberry Opera House is a very unique place to visit. Having been there now I realized any seat would be a good seat :-)
Loved the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Love love love the venue. Very intimate. Can't wait to go again!
