It's a nice place to shop if you know exactly what you're looking for. The staff could be more knowledgeable, but they are helpful.
Sales assistance is almost always available and very helpful. I especially like the Veterans' discount they offer and for that reason, I shop exclusively at Lowes.

Sawing wood to lengths is an important service. Newberry SC store saw broken all the time. They need do better.
Asked to have paint mixed to color 2 different occasions . Told me no both times. Second time, lady was rude. Ended up going to Walmart both times & they mixed to color the same stuff I was going to buy from Lowes. They were much cheaper too. I may buy other items from Lowes but, no more will I deal with the paint department there.
