You can never find anyone to help you and if you do get help they will point the direction of the item instead of taking you to the item. You can go in on their busiest days and find 2 check out lines open, backed up with 15+ people in it and the Manager refuses to open up more registers. The last 2 months I have noticed they will not open any register lines and rely solely on Self Checkout (which there is a line backed up just to get into the self checkout section). Customers are always angry. This store is strictly in the business of making $$$ and seems couldn't care any less about the customer. Personally I try to completely avoid this store completely by either going to a Columbia WM if I have to go to a WM. I have taken my business to AM***N. Free 2 day shipping to my front door and I don't have to stand in a Checkout line for 30 minutes. This store needs to realize that people have more options to shop for their needs other than at this store. They need to start paying attention to their customers needs which should be PRIORITY!
Our Wal-Mart is nice. Too many people during the holidays. and not enough cashier's to check out.
Google prompted me to review Walmart on the absolute worst day. I have had to return some items the last two times I have been in the store, and each experience was worse than the one before. A few days ago while returning an item I waited in a very long line for probably 15 to 20 minutes as only one cashier was at customer service. There was a manager just outside of customer service that was organizing empty shopping carts. Several customers asked her to open another register and she said that she would take the customers at the money center. It was obvious that we were all making returns because we had merchandise in our hands! Not one customer walked over to the money center to do a money center transaction, yet she stood over there and continue to direct Money Center customers her way! I'm not even going to mention the man who got customers talking about guns and shootings!
Today, I attempted to return electronics that came from Walmart that had Walmart stickers on them that my husband purchased using his Walmart credit card. After waiting in another long line the only cashier explained to me that she couldn't return the items because they didn't come from her store. I understand she was just doing her job so I asked for a manager. Assistant manager Walter came upon the scene, and this guy was the biggest idiot I've ever encountered. His badge indicated that he had been with Walmart for 20 years, but he did not know Walmart's return policy! As I was explaining to him what he needed to do to make sure that the merchandise wasn't stolen (I have worked at Walmart before in management), he said he couldn't do that. I asked for the store manager who wasn't available, and i asked for the co-manager. After waiting another 15 to 20 minutes for the co-manager Jeff, I called the store and was told that co-manager Jeff had left for the day! I asked to see assistant manager Walter again, and I explained to him that they had just told me that Jeff had left for the day. He said he knew that! He let me stay there for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for someone who was gone for the day! Meanwhile three cashiers were standing around waiting to be told where to go. None of them knew how to operate the service desk but one sweet girl did try to help me out.
If it were not for the pharmacy Associates at the store, I would never step foot in the store again! Management in this store needs training! They are HORRIBLE to customers because they don't understand their jobs. When I was a manager at Walmart, we works for our customers. We wouldn't have jobs if it weren't for our customers. Even when customers were "wrong," customers were always right!
Thankful that I can park my truck here.. inside was like a regular walmart.. missing a few things that normally walmart would carry.. but I guess you sell want your neighborhood would buy.. Great Chinese place to eat at.. clothing store, few fast food joints.. All around great place to take your ten and relax.. let's keep it clean drivers!!!!
Thankfully I am familiar with this store because it is hard to get help when needed. The produce smells like rot sometimes and I can only get fabric cut at specific times during the week. Frequently out of the products that I need/want. The wait to check out is ALWAYS long as are the lines.
